Haystack used to be a lot more accessible to those curious about the marine and avian life and the unique ecosystems that surround the monolith complex. Unfortunately, the interactive zone has shrunken since I first started coming here in 2010. Very great. Pretty cold anf windy but it was really, really, nice. Got to see the Goonies Rock and walked around for a good while. Definitely would come again if given the opportunity.
