Took my truck in to be repaired. The coolant system was pressurized, they told me don’t be in a hurry because parts are hard to come by we’ll contact you. About a 3weeks-month later without any contact they called me and told me the truck was ready without even first giving me an estimate. Charged 5 hours more than book rate (mechanic friend looked it up). $2,500 for a remand’ compressor. Seems like just the head has been changed but I’m not certain. Great service and super knowledgeable tech.
They’ve been my “go to” shop since 1995. Over those years, I’ve had 5 different trucks (Cummins, Detroit, Cummins again). They’ve kept me running for 30 years now. Overall, my truck (s) have been the most dependable out of those running the S.E., and in the shop the least. I’ve never had an issue and have never been surprised by costs.
