I never had a bad experience at any bar until this place. The guy that said he is the owner is awful. The selection looks great, prices are somewhat high, but the guy behind the bar just makes you want to leave. Stay away until the bank takes it back from him and then give someone that knows a tiny bit about customer service give it a try. Plenty of other places. Go there. Owner / main bartender is super friendly and knowledgeable. Wide variety of whiskeys, lots of flights available. Not pretentious whatsoever - kind of a dive feel, which I love. Some arcade options if you're into that. GO HERE if you want to sample all kinds of whiskey - and if it's not too busy, learn a lot about the liquor, its history, the business, etc.
I stopped in one rainy night earlier this past summer. The owner wanted to go home, but stayed open for another hour to serve the last few customers. He introduced me to some new whiskies & local beers. The atmosphere was very relaxed with great conversation. I definitely recommend visiting and trying something special you can't find elsewhere. Don't be put off by the owner; it's been a stressful year for everyone and impacted his business. Just be kind and enjoy the experience.
