11/01/2025 : I went for a cleaning and we discussed additional dental work. It was suggested to apply for care credit. I was instantly approved for $5500 and Dr Barocas charged the whole $5500 up front and said I'd have plenty of money left over. What she submitted to insurance as completed work, I ended up canceling before the lab finished it. I never got my money back. Only $950 went towards my deductible for other work. Just had a visit with my dentist Dr. Hayley Barocas who I have been a patient of for many years. She x-rayed , identified the problem and treated it without any pain at all. In addition, she gave me a comprehensive evaluation and found several cavities which she then treated. She is a great dentist and very gentle and I highly recommend her.
She is the best dentist very gentle. I have been coming here for over 30 years. Some people like to write bad things because they are unhappy with the condition of their own teeth and they lash out at the first person to give the news. I urge you to give a chance and decide for yourself because I personally would not go anywhere else.
This woman is a pathetic excuse for a dentist. It would be nice if she did some honest, good quality work without charging ridiculous prices but I guess she’d rather just scam people. I should’ve known what I was in for when I heard her making comments and laughing about her previous patient’s teeth to the office assistant. How professional! Here’s a tip: next time you give a patient a cleaning, try actually CLEANING their teeth. Or you can just do a terrible job and charge a 60 dollar copay all before the insurance company ... read more
Honestly what a rip off. I have NEVER had any issues with my teeth and all of a sudden I find out I was charged for a periodontal cleaning when she NEVER mentioned that to me during our visit. What she did talk about during the visit was her ENTIRE life. Her 17 nieces and nephews, the sports she took her nephews to when they were young, the fact that she has been married several times, and that she has no kids.
