We had a really disappoint experience here that costs us hundreds of wasted dollars as well as several weeks of my dog being in severe pain. We initially had a few great appointments with Dr. Siegel where we were discussing options for hip displaysia when I was suddenly told she no longer works there. They then refused to provide the pain meds I discussed with Dr. Siegel. I breed ferrets, and many vets do not even see ferrets, plus many who do are not familiar with health problems that are related to breeding issues and intact ferrets. One of my jills became very ill suddenly, and my usual ferret vet had recently retired, and so I found Hayfield Animal Hospital online. I called, for an appointment, and the first opening they had was 48 hours away. We’ve been taking our dog, Rocky, here for about two years. They’ve always accommodated urgent and last minute visits. They’re busy but everyone is always wonderful.
I do recommend Hayfield Animal Hospital however don’t recommend Rebecca Goldstones, BVM&S. She was rude and condescending. I will return but I’ll never see her again.
The end-of-life care our family received at Hayfield Animal Hospital exceeded all expectations. Making the decision to say goodbye to our baby girl was nearly impossible. We were treated with kindness and compassion the whole visit. They allow you all the time you need in the room with your babe, and give you a bell to ring when you’re ready for the doctor to come in. Our dog Finley is terrified of people. Everyone was so friendly and gentle with him. They're very thorough, professional and kind. Our cats love them too...they're a bit old a grumpy at times😊 Thanks so much for caring for our babies!😊😊😊
My cat detests getting haircuts and hates being handled, especially by vets. The staff at Hayfield was very patient with my cat and they offer sedated grooming to keep his hair in check. Highly recommend this place! Very clean facilities and super helpful staff.
