I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a serious safety issue. I took my car in for a pink slip and specifically asked for the rear brakes to be checked due to a grinding noise. They signed off on the pink slip with no issues and told me the brakes were fine, suggesting it was just surface rust. Two weeks later, another mechanic confirmed the rear brakes were completely worn out. The pads were completely worn out and the noise was scraping on metal.
