Better than I thought it would be. Not because of the location, or competition from the numerous fusion chains out West. To tell the truth, it's hard to find really good Japanese authentic cuisine that isn't tied to some other sideline cuisine or chain. We didn't go for the BBQ side, it was just for a quiet dinner for two. Which brings me to a big plus at Hayashi.
