I been waiting waiting for over 5 years to be sent out to Edmonton to see a neurologist. I had back surgery in 1978 , my rods have separated from my spine. My lumbar area needs to be operated first. I was sent to Yellowknife for a cat scan on my back, then the results showed I have a goiter in my throat. 6 cmm long. They put my back on hold again. Now I am waiting to see oncologist. Very fortunate to have this infrastructure in a relatively remote northern community. Nurses and staff are great! Thank you for your service! Emergency room is clean, quiet and effcient. No full time permanent doctors which makes communication/steady follow ups for chronic conditions difficult.

the nurses here are awesome, the whole staff is fantastic. the doctors however are so annoyed when you try to get them to do their jobs. they are dismissive and uninterested is anything but simple conditions. if you have anything chronic or slightly out if the norm. don't bother and try to go see a doctor downsouth.

Super slow service I recommend a different hospital me and my significant other came here cuz she was worried about a personal thing and the nurse came sounded pissed off and went back to whatever she was doing 1 star hospital I miss the old one
