Everyone I am so sorry I have to do this. I live next door and have been a very loyal customer. This was my first time ordering a calzone from here. To say the least I was very very disappointed in it. It was nothing in it hardly. No pepperoni, hardly no sausage, no ricotta. Just basically bread I ordered. Julia was very nice. Every Hawthornes is always great and we go to several of them. Never a bad meal. We got great service and awesome drinks.
Very positive atmosphere. They smiled and greeted me. The server was friendly and the food was great. The manager introduced herself and was very helpful with the menu. I will be back. They even got a nice drink menu.
Ordered to go pizza to eat at edge city, the brewery next door. Food was ready in the time quoted & it’s a short walk so it’s a great option to get at the brewery. I got a veggie pizza, I can’t recall the exact one, but it had an olive oil base. I added Kalamata olives, which was wonderful. My boyfriend got one of the meat pizzas with the pan crust & he loved it. Said the crust was nice & crispy while still being thick.
