This is a new location on S. Tryon. Went in for lunch on Sunday to try it out. We had ordered takeout from Hawthorne’s before and liked it. We had been to the prior establishment in this location and it as always short staffed. That was not the case here. Yes, it’s newer but it was clean and inviting. If the Harrisburg location is closed, it would be nice to say online it is closed when you drive 30 minutes to eat.
Updated 5/22/24 Tried calling a few times in the past two months, but their number is disconnected. Their website has the same old number listed... It's good when they get it right, but it's pricey for a 50% chance of getting the wrong thing. They used to have more veggie specialty pizzas like a greek pizza, which I liked. If you like meat on top of meat they have a pizza for you.
I understand it isn’t easy to update google maps but at BARE minimum if your restaurant is temporarily CLOSED you should AT LEAST have that on your WEBSITE. Waste of my gas. It’s a shame they have really good food but can’t seem to communicate effectively with its customers.
