BEWARE!! The facility should not be licensed. Don't let the updated lobby fool you. The nurses are cold, unskilled and uncaring. Administration including Director of Nursing and Administrator are untrained in Healthcare, rude and lacking general courtesies and manners. Physical and Occupational staff are aids, not licensed therapists and looked bored, offering no encouragement to patients. Call bells are not answered EVER as staff is on internet or watching TV. Both my husband and I were there 2 years apart for rehab. Many act like they’re doing you a favor Left in the bathrooms. Special diet diabetic. Forget that. And food was not appetizing and way to salty. Some language problems that I think is done for a reason. Compared to others is give it a1. Also those that rated it high I think are employees or have some connection. Very disappointing

RecommendedWe had lived almost 4 years at The Hawthorn , Saliahan, in Spring Hill. We were going o move to Sarasota, Fl. My husband passed away before the move. The Hawthorne Corp. was very good in helping me to get all my business settled. The managers and assistant managers are very people orientated., the staff was always very nice and helped things you needed. Though it was a short visit, the staff at Hawthorne Village took very good care of my husband. I would not hesitate to go back there if needed in the future.
