I would not recommend living in Hawthorne Village. The building is quite old, and one of the biggest issues is the lack of control over your own AC. Be prepared to deal with extremely uncomfortable indoor temperatures—my unit reached up to 90 degrees for extended periods, with no real solution. Management has changed multiple times, and unfortunately, responsiveness and consistency have not improved. Issues and resident concerns are often left unresolved, which adds to the frustration.
