Do not rent here! There are other buildings that wouldn't gouge your money! They will try to steal your deposit in any imaginable way. They are rude and inconsiderate. Do not live here . Leave this place empty.
Worst place to live in… Management sucks can never get in touch with them, windows are so thin on the Hawthorn Ave side you can hear homeless, people walking by, talking yelling all night long, coffee machine never works, expect to lose almost all your security deposit because they over charge like crazy. Never been charged more than $500 after move out all my life, but they charged almost $1,000 even though my place was like new after the move out. See the pictures after my move out. Literally the worst management of any apartment building I've dealt with. The good reviews here are ads. This place is filled with airbnb parties, and inconsiderate neighbors. Security does what they can, but they are not the police (who regularly do not respond).
There's an incredibly loud bro convention going on on the roof and it's upsetting the neighbors. Inconsiderate for a residential street. There's a DJ and big loudspeakers. They're playing what sounds like robots having rough baby making, with occasional tornado warning sirens. One can only hope there's actually a tornado coming.
I have lived at Hawthorn Regency For 7 years. I am over the moon on what an amazing experience it was. You will be working with the best management team any building can offer. They are professional, extremely helpful, friendly and just great people. I loved the high ceilings, amenities, apt layout, washer dryer, etc. There is nothing missing here at Hawthorne Regency. If I didn't have to move to NY I would have never left. A big thank you to Brigette and Her family for being the best management team any tenant can ask for. ... read more
