Hawthorne Healing Center is very inviting and makes you feel a little more at ease as soon as you walk through the door, with a lovely waiting room and calming scents to get in the right headspace. Marisa is an incredible therapist and this is such a calming space. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels peaceful and welcoming. The soft scent of incense, the beautiful decor, and the overall vibe create such a comforting and refreshing experience. You can truly feel the care and intention put into everything here. I am a firm believer in therapy. I've had therapists off and on my entire life. Rick is, far and above, THE best therapist I've ever had. His ability to tease out the nuances of my problems and subsequently provide me with tools to manage them is remarkable. I feel his superpower is that he is genuinely curious. He wants to understand the drivers of my behavoir and the root of my problems as much as I do. He is compassionate, non-judgemental, and down to earth.
