My aunt recently needed to be placed in a facility. Melissa in admissions was so wonderful to arrange this placement at Hawthorn Glen quickly and seamlessly. The assigned room was great and the staff caring and considerate. Thank you!!
Not a good place to work! The housekeeping supervisor does not training she pushing you off to another worker to train. She can't make her own decisions she has to rely on the laundry people to do all her work. She don't know what privacy is. She tells your personal information to the gals in laundry! She talks poorly upon higher up.. when you go to higher up about the problem they do nothing about it. That's why they can not keep help in them areas due to bad supervisor! i worked at Hawthorn glen last year i don't like that place there is not a lot of staff i worked part time sometimes i worked in nursing all by myself and take care of 2 hall ways alone when i finish my shift i go home with a back pain and the next day i go to school very tired .i love all of my resident and love me too i toke care of them so much i hope that place get better
Hawthorne Glen is a horrific place to put your loved one. I have had several friends who passed away from neglect there. Please don't put your loved ones in this facility.
