Dr Au is excellent: professional and very competent. She kept me well informed of what was to happen, checked up later to ensure things went well, and the procedure went perfectly. The staff were helpful, professional and competent. Couldn't fault anyone on anything. A great practice.
I thought it was a good experience a couple of months back it’s worth the wait if my visions involved better to do the job right than rush. Customer service was friendly
Waited 25 minutes to see the triage type person who carried out tests that my optician had already done - and then waited for over an hour after that to see the optometrist for 10 mins. For this 'pleasure' (and with no prior warning) I was charged over $550 of which I saw just over a hundred back from Medi-care - I thought the days of being ripped off by the medical professions had gone by....
Dr Troy Lim-Joon was recommended to me by a friend and I have now seen him a few times. He is an absolutely amazing doctor, very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and fantastic at explaining everything in detail. Staff are great too, and good with kids.
I was seen by Dr Au 3 years ago and unfortunately my experience could not have been more different. I had severe blepharitis and dry eye and was given false reassurance everything would settle. I was not listened to and just told to use more hyloforte when I said how sore my eyes were. After a few months of severe discomfort I was told there was fat necrosis which was now not reconstructable. I was completely under treated.
