Look somewhere else if you want an accurate appraisal and a timely closing. I required an appraisal be done as part of a cash out refinance. My mortgage company company hired Hawley Appraisal Services for. They came out on Tuesday February 1. They said it would take two or three days before it would be sent to the Mortgage company. My mortgage company just informed me that they didn't recurve the appraisal until yesterday! It took over two weeks for this organization to submit the appraisal.
