Had a service person out to replace a gas oven igniter. The technician was very good and knowledgable and made the repairs. My only issue is the charges incurred. The tech was in my house for approximately 40 minutes and I was charged $150.00 for the service call. I was also charged $75.00 for the igniter which I later found to be a part that costs in the range of $15.00 to $25.00 wholesale. Excessive pricing.
Bad experience with Hawkins and Sons. 8/6 called for repair of dishwasher, 8/20 came out for the 3rd Tuesday in a row. Couldn’t repair. Paid 340.00 for nothing. BYW, charge 150.00 for service call. Bad service and policies. Called National Appliance and my new dishwasher is being installed this Sunday!!!
