In my many years of working with Hawkins Landscape Architecture I've found Lori and her team to be incredibly creative, responsive and caring to customers and very detail oriented in the design process. Lori was great to work with. She took in account plants and features that I liked and also blended it with the neighborhood species. So many people have commented on how much they love the retaining wall and mix of plants, shrubs and trees. She was very responsive and created high quality realistic renderings. I was able to easily visualize what the finished product would look like.
Lori Hawkins recently did an amazing job on a landscape plan for our home. She came and listened to my wife and me as we talked about our vision, and then she took us around our property sharing her thoughts and expertise as they related to our overall concept. We hired Hawkins Landscape Architecture to design a landscape plan for our new (to us) property. The space around the house had been neglected for a number of years, and Lori worked with us to develop a plan for a completely updated yard all the way around our house. Lori created a beautiful and functional landscape master plan for our residence that addressed many needs and wants. First, she addressed some erosion and drainage issues we had with our sloped lot. She also designed a paver walkway, split-level deck, paver patio and fire pit with seating wall that also served as a retention wall on the slope.
