Traveled here for a destination wedding of a family friend. The property was great and the staff were hospitable. We didn’t have a poor meal from our Thursday evening arrival to our Sunday morning departure. The alpacas on property were a hit. We stayed in robins nest, a short walk from the pavilion and main hall. My only negative is that although our bed was quite comfortable, it was the loudest, creakiest bed I’ve ever slept in lol. Hawkesdene is fantastic. The grounds, event venues, service, staff, and FOOD made it the best wedding experience we could've asked for and more. While other places would charge extra for every little request, Hawkesdene offers those requests as part of the wedding weekend experience (bonfire, smores, lawn games, wedding day brunch, etc.). Hawkesdene was the best venue we could have chosen for our wedding! We decided to do a 3-night stay the first weekend of March with our friends and family (about 65 guests) and everyone absolutely loved it! The staff at Hawkesdene were so nice to all of us. They were kind and patient with my family of non-english speakers, too, which truly meant the world. I’ve struggled to put this experience into words because there’s so much that can’t fully be captured.
