Literally everything you could want, a visit so perfect it felt magical. Eating a breakfast delivered fresh to your door, while the beautiful surroundings get a gentle dusting of snow. It was so picturesque that every moment could be a painting. The hospitality was top-notch, and the food just incredible. Family wedding here was incredible. Such a gorgeous property.
Celebrated my nephew & fiancé’s wedding here over a lovely winter weekend. Jim and John made us feel right at home! So easy to work with on the planning and during our stay, delicious food, beautiful and clean setting, so comfortable. Loved the holiday decor; and the bird feeders are very popular!
Everything about this place was perfect. There are so many thoughtful touches that John and Jim implement all around. From the cookies waiting for you when you check in, how clean the rooms are, the lovely Christmas decorations, and everything in between, it surpassed expectations! Super easy drive to downtown Galena while still feeling like you’re off the beaten path. Bonus points for having a cottage that is dog friendly! Looking forward to coming back when the weather is warmer.
We traveled to Galena to enjoy the Christmas Luminera and Window display event. This was a birthday present getaway with my husband. The weather was freezing but the trip was great from beginning to end. It ended with coming to Hawk Valley and relaxing in their Meadows room. It was decorated with Christmas tree and lights. Cookies and Carmel corn waited by our bed side. The bed was 10/10 in comfort. Heading to breakfast soon. I’d definitely would recommend and hope to come back.
