All the rooms face west so everyone has an ocean front room. This was wonderful to watch the turtles and to see beautiful sunsets. The slightly downside is your room is hot all afternoon because the sun beats in and the curtains don't really block out the heat. Our room never got below 75 and we're here in March. While the view is beautiful, the location is not the best. You're at least 45 minutes to everything. Honolulu, Waikiki, and North Shore are an hour away without traffic. And there's ALWAYS traffic. Great place, way out of the way. If you’re looking to hang out and watch the ocean, this is your place (5 STAR). If you're wanting nightlife or a kid friendly place not so much (3 STAR). Waves are pretty strong at this beach, so never turn your back on them when you're in the ocean. Also, this is NOT a HOTEL, it has individual owners, 32 units of timeshare (out of 116 units), full time residents and rentals. So DON'T EXPECT HOTEL like services here.
