Kayaking & snorkeling off of Olowalu with Heather was one of the most awesome things my son and I have ever done. I can’t speak highly enough about the tour, the educational elements, the views, and the pictures we received afterwards. To say this was a lifetime highlight moment is an understatement. We love West Maui and love snorkeling; seeing both from a kayak was special in a way I hadn’t anticipated. Thank you Heather for an epic morning above and below the waves. Great tour! Highly recommend and would do again. Our guide Heather was super friendly and knowledgeable and took us paddling to two different reefs to snorkel with turtles and fish. It was a fun and beautiful day out on the water.
The kayak snorkle trip with our guide katie was an unforgettable experience! I saw so many variety of fish and sea turtles floating all around me. Make sure you ask your guide to take pictures underwater. Katie went above and beyond diving deep to get great pics with me and the turtles. And when i asked katie for island suggestions, she gave me a huge list of suggestions that i plan to go do! Loved this experience! A small intimate group setting. A must do.
I had a great time on the kayaking and snorkeling tour I took at the South Maui option. They do a brief orientation at the start of the tour covering a tiny bit of Hawaiian culture and the wildlife you are likely to encounter. Heather, my guide, was great. She helped launch and land the kayak from the shore, taught how to get in and out of the kayak at sea, and took photos of the sea life and tour members to share with others.
