Delicious! Although it seemed expensive at first, I got twice as much chicken than expected. I had a traditional Hawaiian plate with rice, creamy macaroni salad (a true highlight in my opinion) and succulent Hawaiian BBQ chicken over veggies (cabbage and broccoli mostly). I'm really looking forward to trying the chicken katsu and some of the plate options. Be advised they are closed on Mondays.
App sucks. It would not use my reward. Manager/employees didn’t know how to get it to work. The food here is meh at best. 5/10. Chicken tastes like it’s frozen and the macaroni salad is gross. It tastes like macaroni with only mayonnaise and pepper in it. Also I thought this was a restaurant, but it’s some kind of Uber eats kitchen. Super weird. The location on maps is also confusing and wasted a lot of my time driving around trying to find the place . Just overall a pretty bad experience.
This food is awful. There is nothing "Hawaiian" about this mainland food trying to imitate local food. If you want real Hawaiian food, go to a REAL Hawaiian restaurant by people who know how. This place pilau.
This location is basically a take-out location. It's located inside of Tempe Food Court which is a place that allows many restaurants/food places to have a kitchen to serve orders that come packaged to-go. You can order online or at a kiosk (with several restaurants on it) located in one area (door facing 5th st), where there were some tables if you wanted to eat your food there.
