Incredible Experience at Hawaii’s Big Island Volcanoes! Visiting the Big Island's volcanoes was an unforgettable highlight of our trip to Hawaii. Purely amazing!! Day or night I suggest, both so you can respect the true vast size of the caldera. Whether its active with huge lava fountains or you are blessed to see a bit of a glow at night. Nature walks will never be the same for you and your ohana.. Hike around the park. Stop in at the Volcano Art Center in the park on a Friday for a cultural class.. maybe Lei making, Lau haula weaving and even Ukulele class and it's free.. Devastation Trail, Chain of craters drive and Thurston Lava Tube all should be on your list. *S... read more
