Aug 2025 I recently switched my senior rottie,Ari, to here from another local vet. The service was more personal and prices a bit better. When she passed they were so compassionate. They made an extremely tough situation a little bit better. Sept 2025 Adopted / rescued a 1 yo rottie and am still using Haw River Animal Hospital with the new guy. They were so amazing with my wild child who doesn't know manners yet. He loved them. Don't let his puppy eyes fool you in pics.
Found issues with my cat that regular vet missed at cat's appt one week previously. Will continue to use Haw River as my primary vet going forward. Very clean facility, helpful staff and Oscar's needs were thoroughly assessed. Great experience for both of us. Update--- extraction for Oscar. Very much needed, very successful experience and SO glad I took him to Haw River because cracked tooth was overlooked by previous vet 2 weeks prior. Good follow-up by Dr, Sizer's team. I don’t know if there are enough words for me to express how strongly I recommend Haw River Animal Hospital. From the time I started taking my senior cat to them, through his CKD diagnosis and treatment, all the way to his final appointment Dr. Sizer and her team were incredible. I have never met a vet so knowledgeable, patient, informative, and overall amazing.
