I have been going to this practice since it opened. We have seen Dr. Orr, Dr. Katie and Dr. Lew. Last year we had to have our 16 year old Shih Tzu put down. Dr. Katie knew how broken hearted our family was. The whole family was there and we all were welcome in with our pup. Dr. Katie made it a gentle sacred time for us. This is by far the best experience we've ever had with a vet. You can feel the love everyone on staff has for the animals from the minute you set foot in this office, AND they're incredibly responsive and efficient.
Last week I went to Havertown Animal Hospital with my dog who had been experiencing seizures. It was a bit emotional for me but Dr. Orr was extremely knowledgable, calm and gentle. I really felt like he cared about my dog and he has even called me a few times to check in to see how things are going. I left feeling more at peace about our options and it really stuck with me that he said no matter what we decided to do we had his full support. Highly recommend!
I've taken my two cats and dog to Havertown Animal Hospital since Dr. Katie and Dr. Lew opened the practice and I'm so pleased with the care my pets receive. The doctors and staff amaze me with their knowledge, kindness, empathy, and communication. It's great to have a local family-owned practice where pets are treated based on evidence and genuine care and not on private equity metrics. Can't recommend them enough!
