I recently had a loved one discharged from the program The Haven Detox New Jersey, and I am deeply concerned about the level of care being provided. My loved one reported that there appears to be more sexually inappropriate behavior occurring within the facility than therapeutic support. I am an attorney. My client sought inpatient services for his adult son through HHM. He was initially told the appropriate facility would cost $10,000 for 60 days. He signed a contract and paid the $10,000. Four days later he was told a different facility was appropriate and it would cost $40,000 for 60 days. He signed a contract and paid the $40,000. He requested the refund of his first $10,000. He has been waiting more than four months to have this initial payment refunded.
