Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel’s location just steps from the beach was unbeatable – waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying sunsets from our balcony was pure bliss. The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were spotless. A perfect getaway spot – we’ll definitely be back.
Be aware this location is under new management. Breakfast was grab and go with no protein options. Decor is old fashioned, which may be keeping with the building’s history, but also has that “old” smell. Building is a converted church which is very interesting. Hope the new put some work into updating.
This isn’t your normal B&B!!! You get all of the hospitality of a B&B, with amazing hosts that make you keep wanting to come back, but you have room to sprawl out and relax around the building. It’s a perfect getaway for couples who love to walk on the beach, for those who want to make the most out of a weekend in Maine and see everything, and even for those who just want to retreat and hang around the B&B. ⚠️Horrible stay!!! The owner Nancy is creepy and two-faced. She waited for us outside our rooms to berate my boyfriend and I. It was so uncomfortable we decided to stay someplace else. Later while leaving she was all fake smiley and pretended like it didn’t happen. Psycho Karen behavior, beware⚠️
