I can’t say enough good things about The Havens Assisted Living and the care they provided for my mom. From the time she arrived, she was treated with genuine kindness, patience, and respect, and it truly felt like she became part of a caring family rather than just a resident. The mental health care (Alzheimer's) ward needs more frequent, thorough, and detailed cleaning. Last weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) we visited our relative. Every day, as soon as we passed through the security door, the smell of urine was overwhelming. Furthermore, the pile of soiled, urine-scented laundry in my relative's room is unacceptable, not to mention that it creates an unhygienic, unsanitary, and unpleasant environment for the resident (patient), the staff, and visitors.
