We left halfway through the tour to get pizza. The guides were horrid. We had such high hopes for some good stories, it was lame.
We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was funny and had a way of always ending even the spookiest tales with something positive and upbeat. Some of the tales are gruesome so I would not bring small children on the tour. However it wasn't what I would call horror either, just more suitable for adults. Also if you are someone who has trouble seeing in the dark or is worried about a fall I would not recommend this tour. Bottom line: a super fun evening out on Mackinac Island!

We had a wonderful time on the Haunts of Mackinac tour in mid-October with our tour guide, Maddie! It gave us an opportunity to learn some interesting history about some of the most notable buildings on Mackinac Island and see the island after dark! We brought our dogs along on the tour as well and they got their own glow sticks, which was fun.
