This was my second time staying at this property. The first time I stayed in one of their teepees with my kids and some friends in the summer of 2020. We had a great time and I've wanted to go back since then. We were looking for something to do for a couple of nights in early April and decided to go back with our dog this time. Sandy River is the perfect family vacation destination! My family and I went there for spring break, we stayed at the Meadowbrook Cabin. It provided everything that could be needed while staying, including ultimate comfort ! There are fun activities available from kayaking to zip lining. No matter what else you do, make sure to check out Barrel house. The pizza is top notch! Thank you Sandy River for giving my family and I a great time!
Sandy river was like an absolute win! Finding a spot that actually keeps everyone from toddlers to grandparents happy and safe is like hitting the vacation jackpot. Between the treetop adventures, the glamping setups, and just being out by the Sandy River, it’s a hard place to beat for a family bond-fest.
I took my family and their friends here last week for Spring Break and it was an absolute blast! The guide was clear and concise in his instructions, very friendly and interactive and extremely helpful in every way! The courses were a lot of fun and a great little work out as well.
A 5-star sensory experience: The smell of the woods, the thrill of the ziplines at the adventure park, the taste of family-cooked meals, and the gooey perfection of s'mores under a starlit sky. Staying in the Sundance tipi offered a unique 'glamping' vibe that gave our family of four the adventure we craved with the coziness we needed. It was a 48-hour escape that felt like a week’s worth of memories. A huge thank you to Mark and Candice for making us feel so welcome! Don't skip the park—and definitely don't skip the marshma... read more
