I’ve taken this trail ride twice, two years apart. The rates are fair and they provide a quality ride. Slow Hand was funny and provided lots of historical facts about the area. I will definitely go again the next time I’m in Moab
I had my very first horse riding experience here, and it was absolutely amazing! The team was incredibly friendly, patient, and supportive, making me feel comfortable right from the start. My mom and I had a wonderful 2hr ride with Moab Horses this past weekend - despite some really gnarly weather to start us off! Sena led us out on our ride and provided rain slickers to those who didn't have rain gear on hand. She also gave everyone the option to reschedule to the following morning, when the weather would hopefully be better - but everyone in the group (6 of us total) opted to brave the storm. We went riding at Hauer Ranch as a big family group and had an awesome time. We went for a relaxing trail ride through a creek and through the beautiful desert. The guides were really friendly and informative and we all felt very comfortable on the horses. The horses were a great group of characters and we loved learning about their personalities. You could tell the horses were well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend visiting Hauer Ranch for a great experience.
