Hatzalah of Rockland County is an entirely volunteer organization with truly exceptional service efficiency. Calls are answered on the first ring, and the expansive network of county-wide volunteers ensures an exceptionally quick response time. However, a serious issue exists: many younger volunteers exhibit a lack of respect for patient privacy and dignity. Their disregard for confidentiality and HIPAA is deeply concerning and bothersome.
