Y'all got some serious attitude problems. DON'T BOTHER. Drove an hour after calling ahead. Knew it was walk-in only, no big deal. Staff straight up ignored us like we weren't even there. Both of them. Wouldn't look at us, wouldn't answer when we asked about wait times. Just acted like we were bothering THEM. That ain't how you run a business in Texas. Period. Terrible experience! I asked in advance and was told it was walk-in only, no reservations, and that as long as I arrived before 2:30 PM, I could eat. I drove an hour to get there, only to be told, “We’re full, you can’t eat.” The staff’s attitude was awful—completely dismissive, with not even a simple apology. What the server told me beforehand was total nonsense and absolutely unreliable. This kind of arrogance and irresponsibility is unacceptable. Never again!
This restaurant is absolutely terrible! They told me in advance that as long as I arrived before 2:30 I could eat, but after driving an hour, I was turned away with just, “We’re full, you can’t eat.” The staff were rude, dismissive, and didn’t even bother to apologize. I’m Japanese, and yet they still treated me this badly—I truly can’t understand it. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Strongly not recommended!
This will always be my go to spot for sushi in DFW. You can’t beat the quality of fish at the price point and service. Sunday lunch is the time to catch a bite. Just get there early ;)
This is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. Absolutely phenomenal food quality and the entire staff is warm and welcoming. Sure, you usually have to put your name on a waitlist, but go across the street and have a couple of drinks before dinner! Our favorite way to dine with Hatsuyuki is Omakase because they are constantly adding new fish to the daily menu. However, I always have to add a crab handroll. The best!!
