If you are a sushi lover in DFW, Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar at 907 Foch St in Fort Worth’s West 7th district is absolute perfection! 🥢🔥✨ There are no standard tables here—just an intimate, 25-seat horseshoe sushi bar where you get front-row seats to master chefs crafting incredible Japanese handrolls (temaki) right before your eyes. 🍣👀 You fill out a paper sheet to choose your rolls or pick from the daily chalkboard specials (flown in fresh daily!). The chef serves each roll one at a time directly to your spot, and you eat i... read more
Overrated. I usually don't write reviews but it's been a month and I still can't get out of my head that the chef was rude to my mom. Sat in a corner with my family so I heard and saw everything. It's really confusing as the chef gives you the sushi or handroll randomly, not in the order it's written. I noticed it made it hard for the chef to keep track, especially with the sort of layout they had (shared fishes, multiple fridges, and stations). Hands down favorite sushi spot. The staff were awesome, very helpful and explained how to order, what to expect. I like it so much I don't even bring dates here because I want to gatekeep.. haha
Cozy spot for about 25 around the sushi chefs. No reservations so I just walked in and chatted with GM Tony who said they are top 5 in TX and top 10 in US. I waited 1.5 hours but worth the wait and I agree with Tony (and I eat out at a lot of sushi places). 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Simple hand roll concept - all were yummy - but most people were ordering off the daily specials board….melted in my mouth. 😋 and super affordable!
This was by far the best sushi experience I have ever had. The wait staff is patient and accmodating, the food is fresh, authentic and exciting.
