I went to him for the very first time a week ago. He’s very nice .. professional .A good liver doctor .. He will let you know accurate information in regards to your health. He is concerned and will give you every test. You need to make sure that his team will help his patience, find the best solutions for your liver..
Dr. Massoumi is what the ideal physician should aspire to be. After a week in a hospital, lots of tests and zero definitive diagnosis, Dr. Massoumi requested specific tests and diagnosed my liver disease. He immediately setup a follow up and explained thoroughly the situation, risks and plan of treatment. A great doctor and an amazing human above all. This has got to be one of the worst doctor's offices I've ever been to. Dr. Massoumi himself was friendly, however, him and the nurse practicioner both microaggressed me during the visit. In addition to that when scheduling the follow-up visit, the front desk lady called me by the wrong name multiple times, scheduled me at the wrong time for the follow-up appointment, AND when I went two blocks over to the Northwell Lab to get my blood drawn, I noticed on the form that my name was spelled wrong.
