RecommendedWe stayed at the Hatchet Resort a few weeks ago and enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Employees were friendly, especially at the restaurant. We appreciated the steps the restaurant took to keep everyone safe (disposable menus, plates, and utensils, social distancing, etc.). The distance to Yellowstone and Grand Teton was the main selling point for us when we looked at lodging options. We would definitely consider staying there again if we return to the area. Stayed in Oct of 2019 and returning in Sep.2020 for a week.
VERY UPSET The hotel charged us the 10% cancellation fee when we had to cancel our plans due to COVID Pandemic! We did not cancel just because we wanted to change plans the Pandemic forced us to cancel our trip that we should have already been on for 3 weeks. We had to cancel all our plans due to no family graduations and travel restrictions. We can't make it to your hotel from NY in a day! I would think under these circumstances you would be much more flexible. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Will try another hotel when we reschedule ... read more
Stayed for only one night but had a wonderful experience. Stayed in the Hunter Cabin, eat dinner at the restaurant and the food was unbelievably delicious. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks
Wonderful service in the restaurant. Friendly, fun staff! The fruit of the forest pie in the Whetstone Restaurant is AMAZING! The best pie that I have had in years. Great pie and the beautiful view from the picture window -- what more could one ask for?

What can you do to improve? IDK. Send Patrick O'Gara to charm school maybe? What an incredibly rude man who doesn't give this nice little place any justice. We were berated by him and his colossal attitude because as he said "one of my employees made a mistake when you booked" He proceeded to charge us more for the room than agreed upon through booking.com weeks before.
