I had my first visit this week with Dr Hassan. I have had RA most of my life. I have had about a half dozen Rheumatologists in my lifetime and I felt very relieved when I met him. He was kind, thoughtful and respectful. He listened and gave me the time I needed to share my information. He seemed to have true concern for the severity of my disease and immediately jumped into action to help get my health back under control. The staff was wonderful and super friendly. Dr Amer is patient. He asks a lot of questions. He spends as much time as I need . He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is genuinely interested in my concerns.
Very poor listener, gives no suggestion on strategy going forward on your care, if you ask him couple questions he get annoyed and then answers you like you should know the answer. No doctor has ever made me fell stupid or unwanted as Dr AMER does. I do not recommend him if you like you questions answered with out an attitude. I go to a doctor because im not well not because i want to talk about my finances. Run
I'm very disappointed overall with the whole staff and facility and I haven't even had an appointment yet. I called 2 months ago to book, the lady I spoke with was extremely helpful and gave me hope in this healthcare industry, I feel like overall it's always been circles and circles with no solutions. Today I called to confirm for my appointment time and day for this week, and somehow I have no appointment. Last Friday their system was down and couldn't see any appointments apparently.
