Dr. Abdessamad and his team have absolutely met all my needs and soared beyond expectations to help me. I have felt safe with him as my surgeon, supported by his nurse, and cared for by every person on the staff including the receptionists and surgery scheduler. I had a bilateral salpingectomy for sterilization, during which he found a large ovarian cyst, and made the ethical choice to leave it be since it was a surprise/incidental/'asymptomatic' finding that I hadn't consented for him to operate on at the time. I had my first surgery and my doctor, Dr Abdessamad, made the whole experience great. I have finally found a doctor that I completely trust with my health!
In every way my experience with Dr. Abdessamad and his staff was 5 star. Not only was I listened to about my pain and my history, I was treated with respect, all my questions were answered and I felt supported all the way through the surgery process. My procedure was complicated by previous surgery and it all went very smoothly.
Dr. Abdessamad (*ab-dess-a-maud) is a spectacular provider to have the privilege of getting care from. I was concerned that my issues would be deemed trivial, but he heard me the first time, asked great questions, and was every bit as empathetic and willing to help in creative ways(as any woman would be)! He is a special asset to BIPOC, LGBTQIA and womxn's ❤️🩹 health care needs. If you have the chance to meet him, his mythical creature energy will be apparent in all the ways that matter right away.
