Very poor technical photography skills on display for school photos. They didn't adjust height appropriately for small children and took a weird downward angle shot that looks very unnatural for portraiture (as risk of giving offense, if you're taking a 45° offset portrait, you really need to be shooting with the lens at eye level for young children - this involves bending over further and setting up equipment lower - I hope they were training someone on the day they did my child's photos, I would be very surprised if their ... read more
Absolutely awful quality for school photos. My son brought his proofs home yesterday and he has orange hair in them (he has blonde hair) ! I contacted Harvey Studios regarding it and they refuse to do any sort of editing to fix his hair. Their response - “recoloring the hair is not something we offer. As we take photos free of charge we are unable to offer the same level of service and quality that a paid photo sitting would receive” … pretty sad and pathetic of a company to not put in the effort to find a solution for schoo... read more
