The staff was amazing! Efficient, kind, and accommodating! Midway is such a cute town and they are very blessed to have such a great restaurant!
Food was good but pricey which would be fine if service was great. However, we were seated outside & waited over an hour for my food with no water refills on a VERY hot day. They were still going to charge me full price but I kindly asked for a discount; they obliged, and I appreciated it.
We had a brunch type meal on a Saturday and it was excellent! One of the best omelets I’ve had. Even with the place packed, we did not wait too long for food. (Coffee did take too long, but that’s ok.) We would probably not come back on a summer weekend just due to how busy it was, but that’s a personal preference.
We had the steak sandwich, chicken schnitzel, and mac and cheese, and every dish was excellent. The steak sandwich was tender, flavorful, and piled high with chimichurri and fresh toppings on soft bread. The chicken schnitzel was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the lemon on the side was a great touch.
