Harvest Host has truly enhanced our vanlife experience as we adventure across the U.S. exploring each state in our Noovo Lite camper van. This service has allowed us to stay in some of the most extraordinary locations, from Tibetan Yak farms to skydiving fields, alpaca to bison farms and from breathtaking beaches and mountains and everywhere in between. I used to love Harvest Hosts. It was a wonderful to be able to book an interesting stop over on a trip or to visit an orchard or farm. Now however, I've found it impossible to book anywhere unless you book weeks or even months out. One of the reasons I loved it was for the spontaneity and the creative places to stay. Now that this is no longer the case, I will likely not renew my membership.
Very limited selection and hosts reject reservation requests with No reason provided. Too expensive for what you get which in my case is nothing.
I liked it but now there is no response from the company. We sold our RV and they auto renewed our membership. Tried to contact them and their auto response says my fee will be refunded. So far no. There is no way to talk to a person. No phone number. I hate that. Why are they hiding? I really don't know if I want to get this again if we buy another RV. Customer Service is high priority in my book.
Not a great company to work with, they're not very flexible despite not being clear on RV requirements.
