I am writing this review specifically about the pediatrics dept. Our son has been going to Dr Sigman since he was born in April 2023. We have been very pleased with the ease of scheduling and very impressed with how fast this physician responds (herself) to emails and also phone calls. She seems to reply both on nights and weekends; regardless how trivial a question may be. Atrius health is the worst!
This is a review specifically for the lab—which is typically quick and easy for adults. But for pediatrics, STAY AWAY from this lab. After 5+ years at Atrius Cambridge, I was shocked at how we were treated when taking my 6 month old to get blood drawn. The phlebotomist pressured us into trying to get blood from my infant even though they couldn’t find a vein, outright mocking my husband for his discomfort with this and arrogantly claiming they would have no problem getting blood. Dr Sabrina Selim was my in-laws PCP, and when they both had Alzheimer’s diagnoses she continued as if they were any other old couple (wearing torn clothing and living in hazardous conditions in a house full of hoardings).
