My mother needed to quickly transition from living at home to assisted living. After touring several facilities, we found Harvard Square to be head and shoulders above their competitors in terms of apartment style and size, wide-ranging amenities, engaged management and leadership, and compassionate, caring staff. My mom has been at Harvard Square for two years now, transitioning from Independent Living to Assisted Living and now Memory Care. Throughout each stage, we have been so pleased with the care staff, the activities, and the overall facility. The team is compassionate, attentive, and truly invested in the residents’ well-being. We especially appreciate that she has been able to age in place with continuity of care. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing she is supported and cared for so thoughtfully.
We have tried hard to like this memory care facility and its management. Unfortunately, like many (most?) of these types of facilities, the sales pitch falls devastatingly short of the reality. If you are looking to place your loved one here, you should be aware that you cannot trust what you will be told by management.
