Positives: Small and home-like, not institutional. State certified. Good administrator. Helpful staff. Great food. Limited turnover of residents. Very nice front porch. Negatives: Phone/cell reception spotty. Some residents cannot speak much. No sidewalk/paved area to walk around building. All things considered, it is definitely worth a visit.
The only good thing about this place was the price. CHEAP isn't always good. When they didn't give my mom a 30 days notice (which is against the papers that I signed), my mother was missing meds. Gabapentin of all things. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Not only does my mother have nowhere to go, but I can't fill her gabapentin because it was already filled for the month and wasn't given to us. Funny stuff going on in this home. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. 1 star is being generous.
