In May of 2023, we retained Hartwell's to design and install landscaping at our new home. We chose them not only because of a good design but because of the promise of soil amendment and planting the shrubs correctly. We have now replaced almost every shrub because they simply dug holes and dropped in the plants. They didn't break up the soil and in the case of one Nellie R Stephens holly (as noted on the design), they didn't even take off the burlap around the root ball. This place is fantastic! Not only do they have a wide variety of plants at great prices, but they are super helpful. I called ahead and asked If they carried a certain ground cover, and when I arrived I was promptly taken directly to exactly what I was looking for.
