After 10 years of donating, I am done with this organization. The driver was so rude, he started saying he wasn't taking anything it wasn't up to his "standards" that he was leaving it and I "needed to go through it and reschedule". He didnt even look in the boxes. Confused, as it clearly met their posted standards I started opening the boxes and showed him. I have made several donations of clothing and household items and all have been picked up as scheduled every time. This is a wonderful service and I highly recommend supporting them
I have donated to them in the past with no issue. I received an email looking for donations so myself and a family member set up pickups for today. No one showed up or contacted us. I found out another friend had a pickup scheduled a few weeks ago and they never picked that up either. Pretty disappointed.
They took a box of small appliances that do not work, including a microwave that CAUGHT FIRE, yet they would not pick up a box of items that are perfectly fine, but we did not want. Apparently the driver didn’t like the way they looked. I will be taking my donations elsewhere from now on. Edit: The ONLY reason the items looked worse for wear is because they were under our sink as we weren't using them. If you want to raise money for kids and such you need better drivers, who can discern between broken and working appliances!
