It was definitely worth it to have arborists do the work, as opposed to “tree guys”, who can take down trees, but without any understanding of what is best for the health of the trees.
Great work by the entire Hartney Greymont team! John and Kevin did a terrific job bringing arborist Rainey’s recommendations to life - a thoughtful approach that balanced the need for hard pruning/removal with maintaining the subtlety of a natural, minimalist look. Thanks to all!
I contracted with Hartney Greymont's Concord, MA office for removal of a large, dead sugar maple and replacement of it with an October Glory maple. The Arborist Representative, Rainey Fountain, who quoted and supervised the work, as well as the two crews who came to do the work, were all marked by professionalism, thoroughness, responsiveness, and experience. I was very happy with the whole process.
We engaged Hartney for our home lawn care and tree needs this past Spring. I was highly impressed with Lorraine’s knowledge and responsiveness from my initial meet to the team follow up. We engaged them for tree trim work. The tree team was terrific. HG has provided ongoing lawn care and tree fertilization throughout the summer. We have seen an improvement in all areas. I had such an incredible experience with Hartney Greymont! Devin planted a Redbud Flamethrower, pruned my willow tree, and gave me a ton of advice on how to remedy my clay soil. 10/10. He is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I am looking forward to working with him again in the future.
