Dr. Harman retired in June of 2022, and I miss him.. He was the most compassionate, kind Dr. I have ever had. He never made me feel rushed & listened to everything I had to say.
Excellent doctor. Have seen him for years and he always spends as much time as I need. I understand his role as a primary physician - he is not a specialist but has always referred me to good providers. He and his staff are always responsive and caring. I am glad I found him.
Dr Hartman has outdated ideas about mental health issues. When I mentioned that I see a psychiatrist and take antidepressants, he suggested i go on walks and expressed distaste for any kind of anxiety or depression medication. Very condescending and impersonal. I have many physical problems as well that he expressed little to no interest in learning about. Several times when talking to him and PA it was clear that they had not even glanced at my chart before walking in, asking completely irrelevant questions,. A passable doc... read more
Dr. Hartman was my husband's physician for over ten years. He went in for his regular check ups and nothing was found. He never had any tests except for breathing. My husband switched to my physician in January and has been scheduled for open heart surgery for a defective valve that Hartman never discovered. He listened to his heart every visit. What kind of doctor talks more about martial arts than a patients' condition? If he is your dr. run to another if you value yours or family's life
I think Dr. Hartman is wonderful. Some people seem to think a physician should have a magic wand and cure everything that troubles you. That is unrealistic. A good doctor is honest and some people might not enjoy the truth.
The PA told me not to take multivitamins because they're "placebo" pills. At the same time they were trying to force a tentinus & flu shot on me. The same PA was trying to tell me to do more cardio than weight training. Also, I attempted to discuss possible ADHD symptoms and Dr. Hartman told me if I had ADHD I would have been diagnosed as a child. For females, most aren't diagnosed until they're much older. Very outdated information from the entire staff. Am switching primaries asap.
Excellent doctor. Easy availability for appointments. Excellent at listing to the patent and then explain best course of action. In general I've not had to wait more than 10 minutes.
A doctor should be able to help his patients in any way shape or form. Dr. Hartman isn't a good doctor and doesn't care for his patients. For somebody who's been going to the same primary for the past 30 years, and he refuses to help that patient in a time of need, giving excuses and lies as to why he can't help. Dr. David Hartman is good for referring you to other doctors and a yearly physical. But when he needs money, he'll gladly take your money off of pain and suffering with no remorse.
He sits down and explains things, your condition, causes, treatments, options and makes things very clear to you.
