Accompanied a loved one who was struggling to the Mere Suite for an emergency assessment. Night staff seemed to genuinely care and Christian a solid plan together, didn't play pass the parcel like previous experiences with A&E or similar.
Awful place. No care given to my mum. Medication not taken. On visiting found my mum filthy dirty. Soiled clothes, excrement under finger nails,hair unwashed. Did not monitor food as she lost weight in their care. Took to her bed for the 3 months there and was in a worse state when coming home. Had formed a habbit of sleeping constantly and not leaving her room. No one fed back to us for weeks and informed us there was a weekly meeting. Charger cable went missing. Samantha the matron was very kind and helpful as she helped my son who was suffering with his mental health get back on track
Best mental health services in the entirety of merseycare. The rest are doing it for the paycheck.
